Our Story: It All Began With a Simple Idea
We are wholesalers, distributors, and traders for premium quality fresh fruits, vegetables, and dry groceries.
Esca was established in 2017 by Abraham Mekonnen and his father, coming from the automotive industry, the step to fresh fruit trading was big, but import and export channels, foreign currency and local and international administration were not new. From 2019 Abraham continued the business on his own and grew it into a significant fruit and food importer and exporter, from 2020 also the first own production started(Banana chips, roasted peanut and peanut butter and eucalyptus oil). Abraham and family are looking forward to establishing more own production with a group of enthusiastic employees and customers. Currently Esca employs 47 people of which 29 are females.
